Hello everybody! I have a yummy recipe for you today. It is actually really easy but you would never know by the looks of it. These are baked egg rolls and they are such an awesome alternative for the normal fried egg roll. I don’t know about you, but egg rolls are a staple for me anytime I eat at an Asian restaurant (although there are for sure good and bad ones). These ones are good though and much healthier :).

Baked Egg Rolls

Ingredients:

1 small head cabbage
2 cups carrots
2 cups bean sprouts
Ginger
1/2 small onion
2 T Soy sauce
2 T Oyster Sauce
Egg roll wrappers
Garlic
5 green onions
Cooking spray or oil

Directions:

Saute ginger, garlic and onion in cooking spray or small amount of oil until done. Add cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, and green onions. Cook 4-5 minutes or until veggies are still crisp and slightly wilty.

Add 2 T soy sauce and 2 T oyster sauce and mix. Add more to taste. Place 2 T filling in each egg roll wrapper and fold.

Place on sprayed pan and brush egg roll with canola oil or spray with cooking spray. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 400 degrees.

They are great dipped in sweet chili sauce!
